The OB Hospitalist Program is a Valley Baptist Brownsville program. Brownsville Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates P L L C operates the OB Call Schedule application for the program and is the sender of its SMS schedule-trade notifications.
For this policy, Brownsville Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates P L L C (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is the operator of OB Call Schedule and the sender of its optional SMS account notifications. This policy explains how the service handles information used for scheduling, account access, and optional notifications.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as your name, professional email address, and password hash.
- Optional mobile number, SMS consent choice, and notification preferences.
- Schedule, trade-request, notification, and related audit records.
- Limited technical and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate users, display schedules, process trade requests, deliver requested email or SMS account notifications, maintain security, troubleshoot the service, and comply with applicable obligations.
OB Call Schedule is for physician scheduling. Do not enter patient names, patient contact information, clinical details, or other patient information into SMS replies or scheduling forms.
SMS program and mobile information
If you voluntarily opt in, Brownsville Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates P L L C may send recurring automated account-notification text messages through OB Call Schedule about schedule trade requests, trade responses, and closely related service notices. Message frequency varies based on schedule activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to opt out.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and messaging consent are not sold, rented, or provided for those purposes.
All other categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with third parties for their own use. Service providers may process only the minimum information needed to deliver, host, secure, or support OB Call Schedule and its requested messages, and may not use it for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Retention and choices
We retain account, scheduling, consent, opt-out, and message-delivery records only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, document messaging choices, address security issues, and meet applicable obligations. You may update your mobile number and notification choices from your signed-in Profile. Reply STOP to stop SMS messages at any time.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect the service. No system can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
